Rich dad poor dad audio book free download

While driving for Thanksgiving, my husband and I listened to Robert Kiyosaki's book Rich Dad Poor Dad on CD. This book has helped us expand and think outside the box when it comes to money. It gave us many things to think about and other ways to look at our finances. I enjoyed it so much that I not only listened to it twice on CD, but also read the book. In his rich dad poor dad book PDF, Kiyosaki reveals that he had two fatherly perspectives growing up.

His biological father had an attitude towards money that caused him to struggle financially throughout his life. His friend's father, with whom he spent a lot of time, had a different perspective and eventually prospered. The two men viewed money differently, prompting young Robert to compare and ponder the different things each parent learned. In doing so, he had to choose which way he wanted to go, rather than blindly accepting what he learned. He applied these principles in his life and, like his wealthy father, he prospered financially. I enjoyed the way Kiyosaki introduced us to both parents. He puts us on the stage of action, instead of lecturing us, and as he did as a child, we learn from deeds rather than words.

This is, I think, more successful than most finance books, which, while useful, can be a bit boring. If you look up the list of the best non-fiction (business) books, the one that is popular even today is "Rich Dad Poor Dad" and after reading it I understand why. It is one of the best books on finance and it has changed my view of money.

Rich dad poor dad Chapter 1 Summary

Stated in an interesting and engaging way, Robert Kiyosaki defends the importance of financial education. Using anecdotes from his life and the lessons he learned from his two father figures, the author explains the difference between the rich and poor ways of thinking about money. In this book, the author points out the traditional mistakes people make when managing their finances and how the education system is not focused on financial education. Therefore, it encourages people to learn about accounting, financial markets, taxes and investments. One of the fascinating things that stands out in this book is the stark difference between the rich and the poor view of money. The rich father views money from a positive perspective that disagrees with popular opinion about money. All in all, this is an informative book. I was interested in learning about finance and managing money better. If you want to learn more about finance, I recommend this book.

Kiyosaki presents the six lessons his wealthy father taught him and then goes into them. Provide examples and applications. Much of what he says caused me to change my normal perspective by considering a different way of thinking.

Similarly, while reading, I could see sentences that I and others have used that mark us as 'poor'. In fact, during Thanksgiving, my father unknowingly repeated about six or seven things Kiyosaki's "poor father" had said. These statements have changed many of my thoughts about money. While we were driving, my husband and I often stopped the CD to discuss not only the changes in our thinking, but also the inspiration we had come up with.

We looked for opportunities, instead of blindly accepting that we were bankrupt. We talked about business opportunities and the possibilities that we can "work to win" instead of "work for money". If this book has one flaw, it's that it's more of an overview than a how-to. It made me want to learn more. However, I understand that Kiyosaki has written several other books that seem to delve more into the subject, and I look forward to reading them. Still, this works as a good starting point to make us think about our view of financial problems. This was clear, well written and thought provoking, and it made me want to learn more. It was a great conversation with my husband, and I felt that we both grew closer as we considered the opportunities around us. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking to increase their financial literacy.
